"Ndumiso Nofemela commonly known as “Mabizela” at the Ext6 carwash in Mfuleni is the one that inspired me to start telling stories of Amaphanda AseKasi / Township Hustlers.

I have known Ndimiso for a long time so I asked him if he would mind if I took a few random shots of him while washing cars, he gladly agreed. While I was shooting he said “Well chief, you chose the right person because I have been working at the carwash for a very long time”.

He believes that he is helping the community by keeping one car at a time clean and also creating job opportunities for other people. He is truly iPhanda lase Kasi, a township hustler."
